Jayasuriya tries singing

Malayalam stars are also establishing themselves as good singers. Following the likes of Indrajith and Pritviraj, it's now Jayasuriya who is trying his hand in playback singing. The actor was found yesterday giving his voice to a song for the movie' Three Kings'. Composed by National award winning composer Ouseppachan, it is heard that the actor has done well in his first attempt. 'Three Kings' is a movie featuring Jayasuriya and Kunchakko Boban, directed by VK Prakash.

മേക്കപ്പ്മാന്റെ വരവ് നീളും

ഏറെ പ്രതീക്ഷകളോടെ കാത്തിരുന്ന ജയറാമിന്റെ മേക്കപ്പ്മാന്റെ റിലീസ് ഇനിയും നീളുമെന്ന് ഉറപ്പായി. ജൂലൈയില്‍ റിലീസ് തീരുമാനിച്ച 2010 മാര്‍ച്ചില്‍ ഷൂട്ടിങ് ആരംഭിച്ച മേക്കപ്പ്മാന്റെ ജോലികള്‍ പല കാരണങ്ങള്‍ മൂലം നീണ്ടുപോവുകയായിരുന്നു.

ചിത്രത്തില്‍ പൃഥ്വിയും കുഞ്ചാക്കോ ബോബനും അതിഥി താരങ്ങളായി പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെടുന്നുണ്ട്. ഇതില്‍ പൃഥ്വിയുടെ വന്‍ തിരക്കാണ് മേക്കപ്പമാന്റെ താളം തെറ്റിച്ചത്. ഒന്നിനു പിന്നാലെ ഒന്നെന്ന നിലയില്‍ സെറ്റുകളില്‍ സെറ്റുകളിലേക്ക പറക്കുന്ന പൃഥ്വിയുടെ ഡേറ്റ് കിട്ടാഞ്ഞതോടെ ഷൂട്ടിങ് സ്തംഭിയ്ക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.

ഇതിനിടെ മേക്കപ്പ്മാന്റെ ഷൂട്ടിങ് പാതിവഴിയ്ക്ക് നിര്‍ത്തി നിര്‍മാതാവായ രഞ്ജിത്ത് എല്‍സമ്മയെന്ന ആണ്‍കുട്ടിയുടെ ഷൂട്ടിങ് തുടങ്ങുകയും അത് റിലീസ് ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്തു. എല്‍സമ്മയുടെ തകര്‍പ്പന്‍ വിജയത്തിന് ശേഷം മേക്കപ്പ്മാന്റെ ഷൂട്ടിങ് തീര്‍ക്കാന്‍ രഞ്ജിത്ത് പ്ലാന്‍ ചെയ്‌തെങ്കിലും അതും നടന്നില്ല. സംവിധായകന്‍ ഷാഫിയുടെയും ജയറാമിന്റെയും തിരക്കുകളാണ് ഇപ്പോള്‍ വിലങ്ങുതടിയായത്. ഇനി 2011 ജനുവരിയില്‍ മേക്കപ്പ്മാന്റെ ജോലികള്‍ എങ്ങനെയെങ്കിലും പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കാനാണ് നിര്‍മാതാവിന്റെ തീരുമാനം.

Chackochan turns 31

The young actor Kunchakko Boban turned 31 yesterday. Hailing from a family of film studios, the actor who debuted with Fazil’s big hit ‘Aniyathipravu’ 13 years ago was the most popular chocolate boy of last decade in Mollywood.

But by 2003-04 he began to struggle with his stereotyped image and roles and wisely took a break from filmdom to make a reentry last year with more meaty roles.

In the second coming, Chackochan has the best of the times with ‘Gulumaal’ with Jayasuriya turning a hit. The year already saw him as the hero of most of the success stories including ‘Mummy and Me’, ‘Sakudumbam Shayamala’ and ‘Elsamma Enna Annkutty’.

His recent film ‘Four Friends’ has also opened to good initials and in all probabilities will end up as a hit. The new films on the pipeline for which the actor has agreed to be on includes Vaishakh’s ‘Seniors’ and VKP’s ‘Three Kings’.
