Mohanlal's Roshan Andrews directed Casanova was to release in February.
But the shoot of the film is still going on in bits and parts in Dubai. The first schedule is getting over in Dubai by December 12.
Later Roshan plans to do a Bangkok schedule which will happen only after Mohanlal completes his current assignments.
Meanwhile Mohanlal has to complete some talkie portions of his long delayed Joshy multi starrer Christian Brothers.
Next week the actor is moving on to his new Rafi Mecartin's Chinatown, a multi starrer which has Dileep and Jayaram too.
The buzz is that Casanova will be delayed and may release only in July.
It is obvious that Mohanlal is now giving top priority to Chinatown over Casanova. Both the films are being distributed by Max Lab.
The Rafi Mecartin directed film is said to be a rip-roaring comedy, with Mohanlal- Jayaram and Dileep sure to bring the house down.
Chinatown is scheduled to be over after its shoot in Kochi and Goa, and is slated for Vishu 2011 release.
Casanova was earlier planned to finish off at a stretch. But the Casanova crew was not able to start the Bangkok schedule. Mohanlal will join Christian Brother's this week at Mumbai and Chinatown by the mid of December.
